What is a genetic profile?

A genetic profile corresponds to the analysis of specific DNA markers that allow for the identification and comparison of an individual's genetic identity with a very high degree of reliability.
Each profile is unique, as it is based on genetic variations inherited from the parents, with the exception of identical twins.
This type of test is solely intended for comparing DNA profiles and should not be confused with tests for ancestry, health, or legal paternity.

Usage

Which DNA test to choose?

Are you questioning your biological origin, a familial relationship, or the need to conduct a DNA test? It is important to select the test that is appropriate for your requirements.

The genetic profiling test solely provides a DNA profile intended for genetic comparison. It does not establish paternity nor determine geographical origins.

For paternity or maternity testing, or to ascertain your origins, other specific DNA tests are necessary.
