All genetic analyses are conducted by the Endeavor laboratory, our accredited partner. infotestADN works in close collaboration with this laboratory to ensure reliable, secure results that comply with international standards.

How is your data processed?

A Clear Separation of Data

We have implemented a data separation system to maximise your confidentiality.

At infotestDNA

  • We receive your order and your contact information.

  • We provide you with your client code and your collection instructions.

  • We follow up on your file until the results are received.

At Endeavor Laboratory

  • The laboratory only receives your biological samples and the submission form containing the minimum necessary information for analysis.

  • No payment data, no email address, and no extraneous personal information is transmitted to the laboratory.


This separation ensures that your personal data and genetic data are never centralised in the same location.

Strictly limited use

  • Your genetic data and results are used exclusively to fulfil your test request. We are fully committed to:

  • Never reusing your genetic data for other analyses.
    Never selling your samples or results.
    Never sharing your information with third parties, except where legally required.
    Never using your data for research, commercial, or marketing purposes.

  • Your consent is strictly limited to the test you ordered. Once the test is completed and your file closed, this consent is automatically revoked and your data is destroyed according to the timelines outlined below.

Your data during the order

Information collected on our site

When you place an order on infotestADN.com, we collect only the information necessary for the management of your file:
 

  • Your first and last name

  • Your email address

  • Information regarding the type of test ordered and the options

What is sent to the laboratory

When you send your samples to the laboratory, you must fill out and attach a shipping form. This form contains only:

  • The case number (client code)

  • The relationships between participants (e.g.: Presumed Father / Child)

  • The type of test requested

  • The identifiers of the samples


We strongly recommend using pseudonyms or first names only, rather than your full names. Since DNA tests are genetic comparison analyses, the laboratory does not need to know your real identity to perform the analysis.

Legal Basis and Consent

Informed and voluntary consent

Each DNA test is performed on the basis of your explicit and informed consent. By placing an order, you agree that:

Your biological samples will be analysed by the Endeavor laboratory.
Your genetic data will be processed solely within the scope of the requested test.
The results will be communicated to you securely via email.

Consent is not merely a formality; it is a legal obligation. In accordance with current regulations:
Any DNA test requires the explicit, informed, and written consent of the individual concerned.
The consent form provided in the confirmation email must be completed, signed, and registered.
Any test performed without valid consent is illegal and may lead to legal proceedings.

Minors' Cases

For minors, specific rules apply:

  • Consent must be provided by the legal representative(s) of the minor (parents or guardians).

  • The consent form must clearly indicate the relationship between the signatory and the child.

  • Depending on the child's age, their assent may also be sought in addition to parental consent.

Strict prohibition of testing without the individual's knowledge

We wish to remind you that it is strictly prohibited:
To collect a biological sample from an individual without their agreement.
To submit for analysis a sample belonging to a non-consenting third party.
To subject an individual to a DNA test if they have not been informed and have not consented.

This practice is not only unethical but also constitutes a criminal offence in many countries. Our partner laboratory, Endeavor, systematically rejects any sample for which valid consent is not provided.

A DNA test is an act that engages your legal and moral responsibility towards the individuals concerned. We reserve the right to report any attempt to circumvent these essential rules to the competent authorities.
 

Retention Period of Your Data

At Endeavor Laboratory

The Endeavor laboratory retains your results and samples according to the following rules:
 

  • Retention of results: 1 year after the completion of the test.

  • Automatic destruction at the end of this period.

  • Early destruction possible: you may request the early deletion of your data and samples at any time after receiving your results.


For any request for early destruction, please contact us and we will forward your request to the laboratory as soon as possible.

At infotestADN

We implement a very short retention policy to maximise your confidentiality:
 

  • Retention of your file: 60 days after the receipt of your results.

  • Automatic destruction of all data related to your file at the end of this period.


This includes:
 

  • All communications via email.

  • Information pertaining to your order.

  • The test results.

  • Attached documents.


What is retained:

In accordance with accounting and tax obligations, we retain only:
 

  • The payment transaction.

  • The associated file number.


These accounting data are retained for the legally required duration (generally 10 years), but they do not contain any genetic information, test results, or sensitive data.

Transfer of data outside the European Union

Location of processing
 

The Endeavor laboratory may be located outside the European Union. In this case, your data benefits from the following guarantees:

  • GDPR compliance: the laboratory adheres to European data protection standards.

  • Standard contractual clauses: specific agreements govern the transfer and protection of your data.

  • Enhanced security: all data is encrypted during transfer.

 

We ensure that any data transfer outside the EU strictly complies with legal requirements and guarantees a level of protection equivalent to that of the European Union.
